La Pointe-Sèche
A one-of-a-kind facility in the heart of Bas‑Saint‑Laurent”
The village of Pointe-Sèche gets its name from the way the high ridge running behind the lands of Kamouraska curves and juts out into the river. The first mentions of this place date back to the 1770s. This rocky spur, stripped of vegetation, is not well suited for farming. The soil is arid and dry—hence the name Pointe-Sèche.
