What happens in case of rain ?

Our performances are designed to take place regardless of the weather conditions. The show will proceed rain or shine.

Even on rainy evenings, our artists and technicians will be there to amaze you. Rest assured, you'll be well protected in our unique amphitheater, which effectively shields you from the elements. If a cancellation becomes necessary due to exceptional circumstances, you will be informed no later than 1.5 hours before the performance via email and/or phone, based on the contact information provided during your purchase.

How Should I Dress ?

We recommend checking the weather before your visit and wearing clothing suitable for the temperature. Although our site is set in nature and mosquitoes are present, all spectators are seated inside outfitted containers protected by mosquito nets. You’ll be fully sheltered and can enjoy the show without worry.

Can I Bring a Pet ?

No, pets are not allowed, except for service dogs.

Are There Seats Available ?

Yes, the first and second levels offer seating. The sections on the first level are equipped with chairs, while the second level sections have stools.

Is the Show Performed Outdoors ?

Yes, our performances take place outdoors, in a unique natural setting in Kamouraska. However, the audience is protected from the elements.

What the show duration ?

The show lasts approximately 75 minutes. However, access to the 200‑meter immersive path leading to the amphitheater opens 30 minutes before the performance begins

Is the Show Different Every Year ?

Yes!

The Cirque creates a unique show each year, blending circus arts, music, dance, and theater. Every edition is distinct, making your visit a constantly renewed experience. Don’t hesitate to make it an annual tradition!

Where Do the Artists Come From ?

Our artists come from all over—Quebec, Canada, and often abroad. Some travel thousands of kilometers to join us, sometimes from as far as New Zealand! Each year, we bring together an eclectic and passionate team of acrobats, musicians, and creators who lend their talents to an original production. This human and artistic richness is at the heart of the Cirque de la Pointe-Sèche experience.

How Can I Get the Show’s Soundtrack ?

Most soundtracks are available on BandCamp. Visit the “Creation” section of the show pages, and you may find what you’re looking for!

Where Is the Cirque de la Pointe-Sèche Located ?

We are located in Saint-Germain-de-Kamouraska in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, in a natural amphitheater on the edge of the Saint Lawrence River.

Is There On-Site Parking ?

Yes, a free but limited parking lot is available near the box office.

We also offer a shuttle service departing from St-Pascal, Restaurant de la Montagne 2.0, Grand’Ourse (Kamouraska), La Tête d’Allumette Microbrewery, and SEBKA. Please check the schedules on the Practical Information page.

Is the Site Accessible to People with Reduced Mobility ?

Yes! We do our best to accommodate all spectators. Contact us in advance to learn about available accessibility options. Additionally, when purchasing your ticket, you will see which sections are wheelchair accessible.

Can I Bring Food or Drinks ?

Alcohol and food from outside the site are prohibited. A bar on site offers a variety of products from local producers!

Can I Smoke on the Site ?

There are no designated smoking areas on site. The use of tobacco or any other substances is strictly prohibited, mainly due to the high fire risk posed by the dense vegetation surrounding the amphitheater and out of respect for other spectators and artists. This rule ensures the safety of everyone and the preservation of this exceptional natural setting.

How Can I Purchase My Tickets ?

You can reserve your tickets directly online on our website or purchase them on site, depending on the box office hours.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted ?

We accept debit and credit card payments, as well as cash on site. For the bar, cash payment is recommended to speed up service.

Are There Reduced Rates ?

Rates are available for groups of 15 people or more. Contact the box office to make a reservation.

What Are the Box Office Hours ?

Open on all show days from 2:00 PM until the performance begins.
